Trying not to get hurt again....

As of July 2nd, I am 2 months post op for my ACL Reconstruction. I have been doing Turbo for the past month and I'm doing awesome! (Shhhh... I haven't been cleared yet by the doctor and won't be until November.) I, of course, have been keeping everything low impact since I am afraid to do jacks and skis. Running even has me worried since I haven't even been cleared to do that. I can kick and punch and balance with the best of them but anything that requires jumping on my right knee... SCARES ME TO DEATH!

With that said... I want and NEED to start teaching Turbo again and was thinking about starting in the beginning of August. I am not 100% so I can't actually do the high impact jumping but I still burn 500+ calories in one class of Turbo and I think that I can motivate my class to go harder than I am.

What do you think? Should I wait until I am 100% to start teaching again or should I go for it now??

Start in August and motivate the class to push harder!  Wait until I am 100% in November.
