First I want to state that I am not against breastfeeding. I tried it. It wasn't for me. It's a natural thing but I would not be one of those parents that whips it out in public. I guess I have more respect for myself for people NOT to see my goodies. I also respect other people's view and I would just take it else where. But that's just me.
Today as I was going through my Google Reader, I read a post about this doll and I just want to share.
As the blogger stated, "I think it is normal that a little girl would pretend to breastfeed her dolls and I imagine that if I have a daughter someday, she will likely do just that."
The flower nipple. Sucking sounds. Are you kidding me? Inappropriate! I am ALL FOR imaginary play but a baby breast feeding a 'baby'? Let your little girls be little girls. What is wrong with feeding babies with bottles? I can honestly say that if I saw Aubrey pretending to breastfeed I would tell her "Why don't you feed her with a bottle."
